These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LankaFriends mobile app and website (the “Service”), operated by LankaFriends. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement to use the Service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Meet new people safely: never send money to other members, and be cautious sharing personal or financial information.
You retain ownership of content you post, and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
You can report members or content from within the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms. You can also block other members at any time.
The Service is supported by advertising (Google AdMob). By using the Service you acknowledge that ads may be shown.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other members or the Service. You may stop using and delete your account at any time.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee matches, the conduct of other members, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LankaFriends is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.

This Privacy Policy explains how LankaFriends (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the LankaFriends mobile app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
The app uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may collect and process data — including a device advertising identifier and ad-interaction data — to deliver and measure ads, subject to Google’s policies. Where required, we request your consent before personalized ads are shown. See Google’s Advertising policies and Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used — such as screens visited and basic device and usage data — so we can improve it. Google processes this information on our behalf; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
To provide and improve the Service, enable matching and messaging, keep the community safe, prevent abuse, comply with law, and serve and measure ads.
We share data with service providers (such as Google AdMob, Google Analytics, and our hosting and messaging infrastructure) only as needed to run the Service, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Subject to applicable law in Sri Lanka, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, and may withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on the web at lankafriends.com/delete-account. Contact us at support@lankafriends.com.
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
The Service is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We may update this Policy; we will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
