These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the LankaFriends mobile app and website (the “Service”), operated by LankaFriends. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement to use the Service.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or abuse of other members.
- No impersonation, fake profiles, scams, or solicitation.
- No illegal, sexually exploitative, or non-consensual content.
- No spam, scraping, or attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
Meet new people safely: never send money to other members, and be cautious sharing personal or financial information.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you post, and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
Reporting & moderation
You can report members or content from within the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms. You can also block other members at any time.
Ads
The Service is supported by advertising (Google AdMob). By using the Service you acknowledge that ads may be shown.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other members or the Service. You may stop using and delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee matches, the conduct of other members, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LankaFriends is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
